 About Me
My basketball passion started as a toddler playing hours upon hours against my twin brother (Austin) with the Nerf basketball hoop. Both of us are driven to work hard and compete against one another to continue to work towards excellence. In addition to basketball, I have played football, baseball and track and field. I learned early on that team play is essential to success in any sport. I have chosen to focus only on basketball and my love for the game influences me to work all year round. Even during the high school and AAU seasons, I put extra time in the gym working with a basketball and doing strength and conditioning. in the offseason, I am in the gym daily. My competitiveness also drives me to succeed in the classroom with a 3.9 GPA. I volunteer at the local food pantry, usher at my church, and also work with younger kids to help them develop their basketball skills. I have a strong faith in God, which has been reinforced in my 11 years of Christian education. The attributes that I bring to the court are my high basketball IQ, scoring ability, and solid defense. Often times, I am are guarding the opponents best player. I believe that your team is only as good as it's weakest player, so encouraging teammates is crucial for success. I lead by example on and off the court. My goal is to continue to play basketball at the collegiate level while receiving an solid college education.
