About Me
Hello! I am Renee Shrewsbury, and my birthday is April 15th, 2008. Being a twin has many benefits. As someone who has loved hitting from a very young age, and whose twin has always loved to set, we have benefitted tremendously by being each other's practice partners since we picked up a volleyball. Standing at 5'9" and weighing 135, I am very agile as an outside hitter and my quickness on defense stands out on both my high school team (Carleton Airport), and my club team (Toledo Dynamic Volleyball). As a junior, I am proud to carry a 3.86 GPA, completing 2 college courses this year and becoming a member of the National Honor Society. I understand the importance of being as dedicated to my school work as I am to my volleyball career. I have been a starter on Varsity since my freshman year, with Stephanie Miller as my coach; and I have played club ball since I was 8, and I am in my 2nd year with Toledo Dynamic where my club coach is Troy Zabawa. Both have given me the direction and guidance I needed to become the leader I am today. I thoroughly enjoy working out by jump training, lifting weights, and running to help me be the strongest asset to my team as I can be. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me just a little bit. I am very, very passionate about volleyball and I pray that I will be given the opportunity to continue my volleyball career at the college level.
